How to Extend Lifespan of Batteries for MODs

How can you handle the batteries? I think you must have a couple of batteries, such as 18350, 18650, 18500 and 26650 etc.. Maybe you will use 26650 Stingray X mod for a few months. In this situation, what can we do with the others batteries?

One characteristic of lithium ion batteries is not very good, that is a lithium ion battery aging, if we stored in the lithium-ion battery in a period of time, will permanently lose some of its capacity. Cos the lithium-ion battery anode material has already begun its failure history once produced from factory, different temperatures and charged state have the different consequences of its lifespan. The following data is taken from references, percentage means capacity of the battery:

Thus, the storage temperature is higher and the more full battery charge, the more severely loss its capacity, it is not good for long-term preservation of lithium-ion batteries. Instead, manufacturers should be treated batteries like food and recall the out of date lithium-ion batteries; users should pay close attention to battery production date.

If you have idle batteries, we recommend storage conditions for the charge level is 40%, the storage temperature is below 15 degrees or lower.

The nickel-metal hydride batteries and nickel-cadmium batteries are almost far away from the aging effects; long-term storage of nickel-based batteries can be restored to its original capacity after making several deep charge and deep discharge.

More Safe Ecigarettes That is Sweden Looking for!

According to local newspaper reported that a Swedish court ruled ecigarettes should be treated as pharmaceutical products, thus need to approve by the Swedish Medical Products Authority.

The ruling means that these electronic cigarette products sold in grocery stores and convenience stores are illegal behavior.

Swedish Medical Products Regulatory Agency Martin Berman said: "We will continue to monitor, but once the court made ​​a final ruling ,will be issued more sales ban on ecigarettes."

Last October, the Swedish Medical Products Regulatory Agency issued a sales ban to one of the largest retailers in their market.

Swedish Medical Products Regulatory Agency does not seem opposed to the concept of ecigarette. Apparently, it wants to make more secure and new products into the market.

Berman said: “These products we had banned have not been shown to be safe and has not been proven to be effective in the market."

"We believe that the ecigarette is a good way to stop smoking, but we need to develop products approve by the Swedish Medical Products Authority.”

Getting The Nasty Burnt Taste Out of Your Clearomzier

Does your cleatomizer taste like burnt plastic after a couple weeks of usage? Yeah, so does mine. It’s gross. Especially so when I’m using low resistance atomizers, since they tend to burn hotter. Here is a surefire way to get rid of that nasty taste and bring your clearomizer back to life.

First of all, what causes that taste?

Certain cleatomizers are manufactured with a wick that helps draw the ejuice from the tank to the heating element. While this makes for a very effective means of accomplishing the juice transfer, these wicks can get burnt if they get moved too close to the heating element after some normal usage. That flavor you’re tasting is burnt wick. Some sites will tell you that it’s old juice that needs to be cleaned off, or that it’s just how cleatomizers taste when they’re reaching the end of their lifespan. Not true. Maybe you just brought the clearomizer for one day,but it still  has that taste.Why this could happen?Cos you use it on a wrong VV or VW. High voltage or wattage work on the high resistance will make burning taste. such as 2.1ohm at nautilus or Mega tank,the sweet spot is 8-10.5 wattage.

How do I remove it?

1.Make sure you use it on a right VV or VW.

2.Don't fire is without ejuice in the tank.

3.Put the replacement coil in 100 degrees watter for a few minutes.

Then use your hair dry make it dry.

What's the Best Battery for Your MOD? SONY VTC5?

How to choose it for your mod? 18650s,18350,18490,26650?

The size of your MOD decides what's battery size you should choose.
Most Mech. mod used 16850 battery,some epipe may need 18350.
The bigger 26650s are also very popular now.

The whole world are looking for the Sony VTC5 now.
Are this battery really best in the world?
I don't think so.Let me explain that.

The VTC5 is 2600mAh,30Amp limits.
It works well on the big WW Mod.
Sometimes provide enough power and last all day.

How long any battery will last on a charge depends upon how hard you will use it. Meaning, what juice attachment will you be using. A standard resistance clearo/carto will be less draw on the battery than a 0.6 ohm RBA. You might get 7 - 8 hours use on a 700mah 18350 IMR battery when using a 2.0 ohm carto, but only 2 hours with a 0.6 ohm RBA.

When doing sub-ohm coils especially, you have to know the amp limit of the battery.

Use the Ohm's Law Calculator to determine if the coil resistance of your RBA will pull more amps than the battery has to provide. Going over the amp limit of the battery can have catastrophic results. 

1.0 ohm = 4.2 amp draw
0.9 ohm = 4.6 amp draw
0.8 ohm = 5.2 amp draw
0.7 ohms = 6 amp draw
0.6 ohms = 7 amp draw
0.5 ohms = 8.4 amp draw
0.4 ohms = 10.5 amp draw
0.3 ohms = 14.0 amp draw
0.2 ohms = 21.0 amp draw0.1 ohms = 42.0 amp draw

Such as:

• AW 18350 IMR battery has a 6 amp limit. Therefore I'd not use it with a coil less than 0.9 ohm to allow some safe headroom.
• Purple Efest 18350 IMR allegedly has a 10.5 amp limit. Therefore I'd not use it with a coil less than 0.6 amps, again allowing for some safe headroom for added safety.

So don't use Sony VTC5 in your all mods.
