How to build RBAs or RDAs for my Innokin SVD Mod? Many new builders may aks this quesion.We will solve this problem at here today.
Innokin SVD mod can fire all RBAs and RDAs,just make sure your resistance is above 1.2ohm when you build.Why need resistance above 1.2ohm? Because Innokin SVD mod Maximum Current Output is 5Amp. If your resistance below 1ohm,SVD will not fire anything,but can read your ohm.
This rule is fit for all mods when you fire with RBAs and RDAs.
So we need to make a high resistance for our SVD mod. 33, 32 and 30 gauge wire is good for making higher ohm coils, just depends on if you want single or dual coils.
Remember, two coils of say... 4 ohms each would make a DC set of 2 ohms. Etc.
A tip:
If you are going to build on the SVD, switch it into Voltage mode and put it around 3.7 volts for firing and testing. Check the ohms before you fire it. If it is in Wattage mode..it will try to come up to power too fast and you might pop a coil.
Better to build and burn-in your coils with a mech. Just be sure of the resistance and any shorts you may have.
